When the storm passed, the sea wasn’t the only thing broken.

Our Community in Focus
Stories from the shore — rebuilding with heart.
Every Plate Helps Rebuild Lives
The sea sustains us — and now it’s our turn to sustain those who make it possible.
Each Seafood Saturday and selected menu item throughout the season contributes directly to the Fisherfolk Rebuild Fund. A portion of every sale goes toward repairing boats, replacing gear, and supporting families affected by Hurricane Melissa.
When you dine with us — whether in person or through online ordering — you’re not just enjoying a meal; you’re helping rebuild livelihoods across Jamaica’s fishing communities.
Rain or shine, the flavour’s fine — and the purpose runs deep.
Regeneration is the future
We’ve also set up a Collection Centre right here at Oyster Bay Bistro to gather essential supplies for affected fisherfolk and their families.
You can drop off:
- Non-perishable food items
- Bottled water
- Fuel cans and portable stoves
- Tarpaulins, rope, tools, and fishing supplies
- Hygiene and household products
All collected items are sorted and delivered in partnership with local relief organisations to ensure they reach the communities that need them most.
Every donation — big or small — helps restore hope along Jamaica’s shores.
